Honorarium

The Attorney at law is entitled to charge his services by a lump sum or an hourly basis.

Without agreement the honorarium of the Attorney at Law is calculated on the basis of the bar regulation (Rechtsanwaltsordnung, Autonome Honorarkritierien).

Depending on the nature of the case a lump sum or an otherwise adequate hourly honorarium may be agreed.

The honorarium according to the tariff is based on the Bar Regulation (Rechtsanwaltstarifgesetz), the general guide lines for honorarium (Allgemeine Honorarkriterien) or the law regulating the tariff for notary publics (Notariatstarifgesetz).
